Job Description:

Provide support to multiple sites
Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information
Establish, modify and coordinate implementation of SOX-compliant accounting practices
Assist the Plant Controllers with General Accounting functions such as month-end closing, financial reporting, fixed assets management and intercompany accounting
Assist with preparation of Business Review packages
Assist in monitoring and managing of day-to-day cost accounting function including raw material, work-in-process, finished goods inventory management and variance analysis
Fixed asset management, monitoring and supporting non-financial departments with financial justification for capital projects
Perform a monthly testing of internal controls (ASATs) to maintain internal controls and to ensure that the location follows internal audit and headquarters’ policies and procedures
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports as required by corporate headquarters
Other tasks as assigned

Strong analytical skills
Demonstrate leadership and ownership of tasks and projects
Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Powerpoint
Exposure to ERP systems desirable but not required as training will be provided

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration or Accounting
5 years of accounting experience and 3 years of manufacturing experience .
